Year 4 News: 13th April 2019

13th April 2019
We cannot believe we are finally here at the end of the Spring term and what a busy one it has been.

We are sure you will agree that year 4 were totally awesome on stage last week performing Hoodwinked.  We are all so proud of each and every one of the children and would like to thank them for their hard work.

We would also like to say a huge well done for leading the Easter service at church on Wednesday. The children read so articulately and sang their hearts out too.

We have been learning more about the Vikings this week and the children have produced fact files as well as retelling the famous Viking Saga, Odin’s Eye.

In DT we have designed and started to make our own interpretations of Viking Longboats.  We look forward to showcasing these in the classroom on display.

Thank you to all of the children who produced some amazing homework this term.  We enjoyed seeing all the examples and were thrilled to see some very creative pieces. We even had Viking bread made for us all to try.

We wish you all a very happy Easter and enjoy a well-deserved break.
