This week, in science, we have set up our own investigation to test whether materials are conductors or insulators of electricity. Some of us had to do some problem solving before we started as our circuits did not work. Watch this space to see what our results and conclusions are.
In R.E. we are exploring the question 'What is it like to be a Hindu in Britain today?' We have asked ourselves what is important to us and gathered notes to understand what is important to British Hindus. We have made comparisons and found similarities with Christianity.
We were privileged to work alongside the paralympian athlete, Darren Harris. He inspired us to face difficult challenges and not let anything hold us back. We all took part in a 5 minute workout and listened to an interesting talk about his career.
As it was very cold and icy on Wednesday, we had an indoor P.E. lesson focusing on team work. Mrs Ball and Mrs Hope were most impressed with the level of cooperation and support we demonstrated and how gracious we were in defeat.
