June 1st... What to Expect
27th May 2020
Guidelines have been studied, risk assessments have been completed, but we felt it was very important to show you what coming to school will look like.
Lots of careful planning has gone into getting school ready to open for Reception, Year 1 and children of Essential Workers on Monday June 1st.
During your class' arrival/pickup time, you will notice that a "one way" system has been implemented from the car park, to where children enter school and back to your vehicle. Markings will help you maintain 2m distance should you have to wait.
Please avoid car-sharing with other families, ensure one adult picks up/drops off and only visit the office in emergencies. Use the post box, email or telephone to communicate with school wherever possible. If your child's teacher needs to speak to you, this will be done by telephone too.
The video below guides you through the initial arrival at school for Reception and Year 1 - we hope it helps you feel reassured. Children of Essential Workers should enter school through the Hall (Scooters) door.
Each classroom has been carefully prepared, with clear signage and markings that the children will easily recognise. Cleaning will take place regularly throughout the day, with regular hand washing for all!
We are very excited to welcome back the younger members of the Hanbury Family next week. If you have any queries or concerns about the process, please email the Office.
