This week in reception we have been learning about keeping healthy. We have been looking at healthy and unhealthy foods, keeping fit and making milkshakes.

The children have been completing their 5 activities to earn their stickers making Mrs Dallow really proud.

We have now finished our phase 2 sounds and I am sure you have noticed how the children are now beginning to segment and blend simple words. We will continue to practise this next week.

In Maths we have been doubling some big numbers and the children have also been exploring 2D shape by creating shape pictures. We have had lots of brilliant rockets and houses!

In PE we have been using the apparatus to move in different ways and learning how to jump off equipment and land safely.

We will be starting forest school after half term and for the children to have a true experience of forest school at the Jinney Ring we need at least 2 parent helpers a week.  If you are able to help then please can you let me or the office know.  Thank you very much.
