This week we began our Tri golf lessons which the children loved. They have been learning how to hold a golf club correctly and hitting targets.

In Phonics we have started phase 4 and have been looking at CCVC words and tricky words such as he, she, and me. I will be now beginning to look for these in the children‘s writing so if you have chance to practise at home then that would be brilliant.

Maths we looked at doubling, halving and sharing. The children have been sharing and halving sweets which they loved.

In literacy the children have been working so hard and have done some lovely writing about the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. We created a story map as a class and used actions to help us retell the story.

The children may have told you that we have some new visitors in our class. We have caterpillars that are growing very quickly and will turn into beautiful butterflies.
