I am so proud of the children's performance at our Harvest Festival. They were Fantastic!

This week the children have been so busy collecting their different stickers by completing different activities.

Phonics:  We have been learning the sounds 'g', 'o', 'c' and 'k'.  We have been working hard on segmenting and blending words using our robot arms.  The children are picking this up quickly.  I will be sending home books with words in, over the next couple of weeks.  Please continue to read with your child as much as possible.

Literacy:  We have been looking at the story 'The Little Red Hen' and we have story mapped it together to help us recall what happened.  Story maps have lots of pictures on them, to remind us what happens and in what order.

Maths:  We are continuing with our counting and have been reinforcing our knowledge of shape.  Why not see what shapes the children can find at home?

We are looking forward to another great week of fun!
