Home Learner of the week: Emilia

Thank you so much for all your weekly posts of work that the children have been up to at home. I hope the children enjoyed receiving their letters and their bedtime stories on Tapestry. I have added some photos from all you fabulous home learning this week, it is so hard to choose as there are just so many wonderful things happening to post about.

I really look forward to seeing the children’s weekly posts and what they have been up to, thank you!

Thank you to everyone who is regularly reading the books allocated on ‘My Rising Stars’. Reading is so incredibly important at this age and reading books the children can apply their Phonics knowledge to is vital to keep those skills and learning embedded. It is a great way to access books that are linked to their current reading level that the children can read independently.

I appreciate it is very different reading off of a screen rather than a book, but it is the only way in this current climate we can ensure children are able to access age appropriate texts that will ensure they keep moving forward with their reading. I will continue to add new books at the weekend for the following week.

Once again thank you for all engaging with the home learning activities. I can’t wait to see more of your posts on Tapestry over the rest of the week. Stay safe and have fun. Missing you all.
