School News: 1st May 2020

The children of Essential Workers have had a busy week at school!

We started off making funny grass seed heads, which we are looking forward to styling once the seeds germinate.  We also made some delicious chocolate cornflake cakes.  Whilst we were licking the bowl we had to try hard to remember what we had done, as we then wrote some fantastic instructions for others to follow.

Mrs Hope had a tricky problem for us to solve on Thursday, which we acted out and solved ourselves.  We had to work out how to get a wolf, a goat and a cabbage across the river without them eating each other!  We wrote and drew our solutions.

Despite the rain coming and going, we also managed to stay active, with a walk up to church, playing on the bikes and climbing on the wallbars in the hall!

We joined in both Art Clubs this week, and took part in the "Stay In, Work Out" challenges too.

We ended the week with a lovely Forest School session on Friday with Mrs Pincher, including making a rope swing!
