We have been busy measuring length and height in maths this week. We have been working hard to use the correct language of taller, shorter and longer. We have compared different objects and measured objects within the classroom.

In literacy, we have been thinking about owls. We thought about what we already knew and then tried to find information from different sources. Once we had all of the information we needed, we began to write... We still find writing tricky at times but we are trying very hard.

Miss Bishop is pleased with how well we are reading now and we are working hard on our phonics. As soon as we get into the classroom we are busy reading real words and nonsense words and spelling using all of the sounds we know. Some of us manage to complete lots of work before the register has even been taken!!!
