We have been working hard to perfect our class assembly which we will be performing on Friday morning... we look forward to seeing you there!

Forest School:  We joined forces with Year 3 and lots of kind adult helpers for a fantastic Forest School this week.  We enjoyed hot chocolate and biscuits then collected items to use for our natural Christmas decorations.  We made sure there was also time for lots of tree climbing, den building and rolling down the slope!

Literacy:  We have begun to think about the character of Michael in our new text.  He comes up with all kinds of reasons not to go to school!

Numeracy:  Shape has been the name of the game in numeracy this week!  We have tried really hard to describe the properties of 2D and 3D shapes, using the correct vocabulary:  sides, corners, edges, vertices and faces.

PE:  We loved our "Real PE" lesson on Tuesday with Neil and Leigh.  They played lots of really fun games with us and showed Miss Jones lots of ideas for lessons in the future.
