We have been rehearsing our assembly on this term's Hanbury value of Friendship and we can’t wait to perform in front of our friends and visitors tomorrow!

Literacy:  we all became duck estate agents this week, trying to convince Jemima Puddleduck to move into the nest we had designed!  We are trying to use emotive language, persuading Jemima that our nest has all the qualities she is looking for, just like the “bushy-tailed gentleman” in Beatrix Potter's tale.

Numeracy:  Miss Bishop is really impressed with our maths skills so far this term, especially this week!  We have used our place value knowledge to exchange when our calculations “cross the tens”. We all used apparatus to help, but some of us have even started to use our number bonds to 10 to help us work calculations out mentally.... WOW!

PE:  we are really enjoying our multi skills sessions with Mrs Tandy.  This week she challenged us to use the gym equipment and create imaginative ways to move between each one.
