This week we have designed an experiment to see what plants need to grow. We are changing one thing for each plant so one is in a dark cupboard, another is in a cold place and one will not be watered. We have made sure we have one plant that is getting all these things so we can compare them after a while.
We've been using our place value to solve problems in maths, whilst in literacy we have planned and written a recount of our trip to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. Despite the weather, we had a lovely day. Thank you to Mrs Williams, Mrs Tandy and Ms Collins who came along to help us.
We have heard that the homework is going well! It sounds like some of the seeds we took home are starting to grow... so don't forget to fill in your plant diaries! We have also sent home spelling and maths homework to go alongside regular reading and times table practise.
