We had a great day out at the Black Country Museum!  The children investigated the life of Harry Parkin - the son of an anchor maker - and saw chains and nails being made.

We were amazed that some links were so big it took 6 men three hours to make.  We really enjoyed learning about how people used to shop, especially that you could buy strange amounts of food (like a spoon full of jam)

In Science we have been investigating our shadows during different times of the day. We have been enjoying predicting and finding out what happen when the sun rises and why.
