This week in year 3, our topic lessons have focussed on the Roman invasions and mapping the spread of the Roman Empire. We enjoyed learning about the Romans in Britain and how the relationship between the Romans and Celts changed over time.

In Literacy we have been thinking about our health and creating leaflets on healthy lifestyles and really picked apart what we need to do to keep ourselves in tip top condition!

In Maths we have been concentrating on number lines to 1000 and finding 1, 10 and 100 more or less when we are given a number.

Science this week has been exciting, we have investigated forces and looked at toys that use forces to work.

We have also been learning about how different people pray and thinking about why people choose to visit churches. We feel that even though God can hear our prayers anywhere, churches provide a sense of community and might help us to feel closer to God.

We have also enjoyed our Ukulele lessons, football with Coach Rhys and Stellissa Born to Move!
