It has been a super week in year 3, we have been preparing bits and pieces for our stand at the summer fayre - making rainbow decorations and planning what cakes and biscuits we will be making. 

Science:  we have learnt about water transportation in plants using some carnations and food colouring! 

Literacy:  we have been identifying the key features of instructional texts. 

Maths:  we have been concentrating on volume and capacity, making predictions about how much liquids can be held by different containers and finding out! 

PE:  We had our first cricket lesson which was so much fun and we carried on with our summer term swimming. 

Heartsmart:  This week in heartsmart we discussed situations which make us feel stuck and solutions for when we feel like this! 

RE:  We continued to present our findings from our research on Judaism. 

Topic:  We made 3D models of the cross section of Roman roads.
