Year 4 News: 13th February 2020

13th February 2020
We cannot believe that we are already half way though the year.  It has been wonderful to watch lots of the children stepping up and becoming super ambassadors of the school by always showing our Hanbury values, working hard and always doing the right thing.

Last Friday was the deadline to hand in a piece of topic homework.  We have displayed some beautiful pieces on our homework board and they are looking fabulous but we have only received work from six children.  This has been a little disappointing; however you can still bring in topic homework before Friday.

Neither myself or Mrs Hope will be setting homework over the half term holiday as the children have worked extremely hard in class and deserve a rest.  We are hoping that they will continue to be as enthusiastic as they have been this week in learning their lines for the year 4 play and having a go at the song lyrics.  We are very conscious that we have very limited time to rehearse when we get back so the more the children know, the easier it will be.

We wish you all a very happy half term.
