We were desperate to sing some Christmas songs, but sadly we are not able to do this safely in our classrooms.  So, on Thursday, we had a lovely walk up to Church and stood at the top of the hill singing our hearts out!  With the Church and the wonderful view, we felt so joyful and thankful for where we come to school.
We are finally at the end, of what has been a very challenging term for us all.  We are extremely proud of the children who have adapted accordingly and have taken all the changes in their stride.
Without exception, year 4 pupils have worked hard, learned new concepts and endured when the going has got a bit rough.  Their school books are a pleasure to look through and reflects the amount of determination and understanding that has gone on during the Autumn term.
We have adapted to doing our assemblies via zoom and our church visits are on hold at the moment.  Nevertheless, Year 4 have still actively lead the services as they would usually have done and we have been so proud of the way they have spoken and delivered messages using the technology that we have.  Year 4 have stepped up,  become amazing role models and are a pleasure to teach.
We wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.  Have a good rest over the festive season, stay safe and enjoy the time with your families.
