Year 4 News: 2nd April 2020
2nd April 2020
It’s so good to see how many of you are up and running on SeeSaw. Mrs Ball and I have been thrilled to see all your work and photos and to listen to your recordings. We have seen such a variety of ways of responding to the tasks we have set and also lots of photos and videos of your own learning activities and keeping fit. Your mums and dads are doing a fabulous job and so are you!
We are very keen to continue to teach the Year Four Curriculum, covering areas as we would in class so it is important that you keep completing the tasks which are set. We aim for them to be achievable in your home setting and have loved seeing some of the ‘home schools’ you have set up. Remember, we expect the same standards as we would in class so think quality!
Over the Easter holidays we would like you to have a rest and do all the things you love to do at home and in the garden but we would ask that you continue to read once a day at least and keep practicing your Year Three and Four spellings. You could also work on your Viking topic.
There will also be a two week long battle on TTRS from Monday 6th April to Sunday 19th April. Good luck!
Have you participated in the Hanbury Twitter Art Club? It is on at 11:00 every Tuesday and Thursday morning for an hour. There’s a different theme each time - if you tweet your finished work we can share it with everyone!
