Appeal for Harvest Donations

News

29th September 2021

Once again, we will be collecting donations for Droitwich Foodbank as part of our Harvest Celebrations.

Next week, for the first time in almost 2 years, we will be walking up to church to celebrate this very special time of year.  As part of the service, we are hoping everyone can make a small contribution to a very special cause.

Droitwich Spa Food Bank was launched in 2014, a project founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our area.

The foodbank is now an independent charity and has 50 volunteers who regularly help out. The foodbank not only covers Droitwich Spa but also some of the surrounding areas and they work together with other Trussell Trust foodbanks in the area.

Items that could be sent in as harvest gifts include: breakfast cereals, soup, pasta, rice, tinned goods, tea, coffee, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash etc. No perishable goods please.

Any donation, no matter how small you think it may be, will go towards helping families in our area and will be very gratefully received.
