The Young Voices Choir made an appearance at Primrose Hospice’s Lights of Love Celebration this weekend.
Like many others, the school has a connection with the charity after they supported friend and colleague, Mrs Kershaw. Our much-loved Reception teacher was diagnosed with bowel cancer and died in 2019.
Her family continue to receive support following the sudden death of Mr Kershaw in 2022.
The Kershaw’s story was highlighted as part of this years’ campaign, which offers an opportunity to remember those we have lost by adding their name to Christmas trees around the local area.
The choir gave a hear-warming performance on what was a chilly evening. It was a perfect way to thank Primrose for all they do and to bring a little joy at what is a difficult time for many.
