The children have had a fantastic week.  The children were amazing in their mothers day assembly. We are so proud of them.

We have started our new topic minibeasts and have been reading the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. the children have created story maps and been sequencing the story independently.

We have also had the arrival of some caterpillars which the children are really excited about.

In maths, we have been learning subtraction which the children have picked up really quickly. We have used number lines, 100 squares and cubes to help us solve subtraction number sentences.

This week we had forest school at school as we did not have any helpers. This is a real shame for the children as they enjoy our adventures over the big forest school. If you can help next term then let us know. This week will be our final forest school which we will be having in our outdoor area. We will be having sausages and marshmallows.
