After leading our Festive Worship by telling us the story of Christmas last week, Year 4 were given the task of telling us who is their favourite Nativity character.
Some of their answers have been included in a video produced by the Diocese of Worcester as part of The Church of England's "At the Heart of Christmas" celebrations.
A variety of responses - in addition to Jesus - included Joseph, the Innkeeper and the Donkey with thoughtful reasons for their particular choices.
Year 2 have also been looking closely at the Nativity tableau. They thought about the image we create in our minds when we hear the word "king" and how this is so different to the scene in the stable when Jesus was born.
"Reflecting on the Nativity and what it means is really important amidst all the Christmas activities that our children enjoy at this time of year," said Lynn Ball, Curriculum Leader for RE and Worship.
"I'm very proud to see our pupils involved in the video produced by the Diocese - hearing their thoughts and contributions reminds us that they really appreciate why we are celebrating this very special time in the church calendar."
