A very special guest came to play today! Pudsey Bear joined us at lunchtime, to remind us that Friday is BBC Children in Need Day!
Hanbury children and staff are looking forward to wearing their spots with pride this week, in return for a donation to the charity that helps so many youngsters in our area and beyond.
Pudsey joined in a game of hula-hoop with some of our pupils whilst they were out on the playground.
"Our school vision is 'Flourishing through Love and Nurture' and everyone plays their part in making that happen here" said Deputy Headteacher, Miss Bishop. "How fitting that Pudsey reminded us that we can support those we don't know to flourish too, by raising money for fantastic causes like Children in Need.
"I'm also glad we could help Pudsey flourish by teaching him how to hula-hoop," she added. "He's getting very good!"
