First we got on a coach and went to a different school. At the school we did lots of sports like long jump, javelin, running and throwing.
We all did very good. We did the obstacle course. We had to jump in sacks, carry some wooden eggs on spoons, go over hurdles and run to the end.
At long jump you had to run and when you got to the sandpit you had to jump as far as you could. Shot-put is when you throw and where it lands (not rolls) is how far your ball went.
The weather was horrendous, it was pouring down but we kept going and didn’t give up. We got soaked. Sports Day was great!
