As part of its commitment to providing the best possible learning environment for its children, plans have been shared detailing an extensive and exciting new building project at Hanbury C E First School.
The first phase of the build will begin this week, with completion expected in September 2025.
Planned work will begin with the construction of new classrooms along with additional meeting and storage space, replacing 2 existing mobile classrooms. Their removal will allow the playground to be expanded, whilst an existing conservatory will be developed into a brick structure.
After a detailed planning process, Headteacher, Aaron McDonagh is delighted that the development will be getting underway:
“We are confident that the improvements will provide a modern and inspiring learning environment for our children to flourish,” he said.
“Every effort has been made to minimise impact on the daily operations of the school, but it will be exciting for us all to watch how this new chapter in our school unfolds!”
