Yesterday, a joyful Harvest Service at Hanbury Church was filled with songs and stories, as pupils, staff and families all took to opportunity to pause and reflect on the wonderful blessings and opportunities we are afforded.
Year 4 told the Parable of the Sower, then invited the congregation to join them in prayer, with songs performed by each class throughout the service. The children also brought Harvest offerings which will be passed on to members of our community via Droitwich Foodbank.
“There were so many donations – large and small,” said Head of School, Vicky Bishop. “The kindness shown is a terrific example of how everyone at Hanbury can live out our vision of ‘Flourishing Through Love and Nurture’.”
