Half Term Holiday Club

29th October 2021

A week of Autumn activities provided the fun at Hanbury Holiday Club this half term!

On Monday, we read the story of Funnybones and Meg and Mog.  We created our own Funnybones out of cotton buds, then spider biscuits - modelled on the ingredient Meg took to her party!

We made sure Meg's friend, Owl was looked after on Tuesday as we made bird feeders, then designed fruit kebabs which we devoured at snack time. We made colourful collages and lovely autumn lanterns too.

Wednesday was our first ever Forest School day!  We loved spending the morning outside, playing on the rope swing, making dreamcatchers, leaf printing and scooping pumpkins.  Delicious hot chocolate with biscuits kept us warm and full of energy!

Dancing and pumpkin painting on Thursday was followed by some fun games and puppet making on Friday, rounding off another wonderful week with our friends!
