Yesterday, Year 1 visited Hanbury Church to take part in a Christianity treasure hunt!
The children were given items to find that are important within the Christian Faith as part of their “What it is like to be part of a faith community?” unit of work.
The children started the fun by joining together and singing one of their hymns from worship and stopped to look at the pictures shown in the stained glass windows. They spotted the font and talked about baptism and reflected on the reasons why candles are significant to Christians.
The children were respectful and worked well together whilst enjoying time in church.
