On Tuesday 9th June, Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a fantastic trip to watch England Lions take on South Africa at Worcester County Cricket Club.
Despite the rainy weather, the children had the best day and their enthusiasm never faded. Throughout the match, they could be heard cheering, chanting and supporting the players, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to experience a live cricket match and see the skills and techniques they have been learning during their cricket lessons in school being demonstrated by professional player's.
As well as watching the game, the children also had the chance to take part in some mini cricket games of their own, which they thoroughly enjoyed. It was wonderful to see them applying their cricket skills, working together and having fun.
