Author Vicki Jones visited our school today for a memorable visit to share her heartfelt picture book, I’ve Got You!
The story, which gently supports children—especially those who are neurodivergent—in understanding and managing their emotions, resonated deeply with both students and staff.
Vicki read the book aloud, capturing the children’s attention with its soothing rhymes and reassuring message, and spoke about her personal experiences that inspired the story.
Her visit created a warm, inclusive atmosphere and opened up valuable conversations about feelings, empathy, and self-regulation. It was a truly memorable visit that left a lasting impression on everyone.
