Reception Class had a wonderful day out at Buncroft Farm, bringing the story We’re Going on a Bear Hunt to life. The children explored the farm, discovering different parts of the story on their very own bear hunt—and to their delight, they even found some bears hiding in the woods!
Lunchtime was spent in the cosy tractor barn before heading back across the fields for more fun. In the afternoon, the children went on bug hunts, using brushes, pots, and butterfly nets to explore the bushes and hedgerows. One of the highlights was catching a grasshopper!
It was a fantastic day filled with storytelling, nature, and adventure. Well done, Reception!
