On Wednesday we went to Aston Fields to take part in a football tournament against other local schools It was cloudy and we hoped that it wouldn’t rain. Most of us were excited and a bit nervous.
We were split into teams of 7: girls A and girls B and boys A and B. Everybody tried their best and we cheered each other on, even when the rain came.
Hanbury boys team A got into the final against Finstall First School and we were all so excited we were shouting at the top of our lungs. By this time we were soaked but we didn’t care. We played really well and came second.
All of team A were given a shiny medal and we got back on the coach soggy but happy.
