Year Two recently enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham. The children spent the day exploring the beautiful grounds, taking in the wide variety of plants, flowers, and trees from around the world. They showed lots of curiosity as they learned to identify different types of trees and discussed what makes each one unique.
One of the highlights of the day was a creative activity where the children used natural materials they collected to design and make their own crowns. Leaves, twigs, and flowers were transformed into wonderful creations.
To round off the day, the children enjoyed some well-earned fun in the park where even Miss Bishop joined in and had a go on the slide!
We are especially proud of the excellent behaviour displayed throughout the trip. The children represented the school brilliantly, showing respect for the environment and for one another.
It was an enjoyable and memorable day, and all the children returned with smiles on their faces and plenty of stories to share!
