A team of 8 Hanbury pupils from Year 3 and 4 joined others from Bromsgrove to take part in a Panathlon Challenge on today.
Pupils from 5 local schools enjoyed a morning of competitive but inclusive activities at The Ryland Centre, with a focus on target skills, hand-eye coordination and organisation!
Sports Leaders from Aston Fields Middle School supported the children on each task, overseen by the All Active Academy. Lots of fun was had before everyone joined together to share their favourite parts of the day with each other and receive medals for their achievements.
“It was a treat to see everyone having a go at each activity, doing their very best but entering into the spirit of the event,” said Mrs Adams. “There was even a curling game, so maybe we’ve inspired a few future Winter Olympians along the way!”
