Phew!  What a busy week...

Monday morning saw us pull on our wellies and waterproofs and venture out into the rain for Forest School.  We played a very realistic game of 'Stuck in the Mud' before striding out and racing across the fields.  We returned to school for our hot chocolate, biscuits... and a good wash!

After only 2 weeks of rehearsal, we joined our friends from Year 1 and performed 'The Christmas Story' to a packed hall of friends and family on Tuesday and Wednesday.  We were proud to be able to pass on the story of the birth of Jesus and really enjoyed singing some lovely songs!

Ahead of our performance on Wednesday, we swapped the stage for the stalls as we had a fantastic morning at The Swan Theatre's Christmas Pantomime; Maid Marion and Her Merry Men.  We all thought Mr Payne was funny when the Panto Dame gave him a kiss!

Amongst all this activity, we have been busy creating some lovely Christmas cards and calendars.
