Year 3 News: 14th November 2019

14th November 2019
On Monday we were respectful as we remembered all those soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in our Remembrance assembly. We also did some lovely poppy collages where we used monochrome colours for the background with bright poppies in the foreground.
On Tuesday we painted bug boxes on Forest School and filled them with straw, pine cones and other materials for our bugs to nestle in. We also wore odd socks for anti bullying week and produced our own mini dramas depicting what we think constitutes bullying.
This week we have also finished looking at instructions in literacy, been learning different methods to help us tackle division questions and in science we have been looking at forces and what causes magnets to attract and repel. We have continued with our martial arts lessons and ukulele!
