A busy week in year 3 as we continue to rehearse for the year 4 production.

HeartSmart -  We were thinking of all the things that we have to be thankful for. We wrote them on strips of paper and made an extremely long chain.  This lesson helped to remind us that even when we are sad we have lots of small things to be grateful for and helped our hearts feel happy again.

Literacy – We finished our adventurous stories as we ran away from a tsunami on our holidays, we also came up with some fabulous ideas for our next stories including being scientists investigating volcanoes or being a storm chaser in tornado alley!

Maths – We have been looking at the currency we use, calculating amounts and shopping using change!

RE – We have continued to learn all about the Hindu religion and researched different Gods and why a Hindu might choose to pray to them.

Music – We are continuing to work on our rendition of ‘Three Little Birds’.

P.E – We have been working on passing balls in a variety of ways and enjoyed a dodgeball lesson also!

Science – In science, we are investigating forces and experimenting with magnets.
