Star of the Week:  Sam
Writer of the Week:  Kai
Mathematician of the Week:  James
Values Champion (Endurance):  Rhys

In Literacy this week we have read Chapter Three of 'The Sheep-Pig' and written explanation texts about how Babe should behave on the farm, using imperative verbs, fronted adverbials and causal connectives to enhance our writing.

Numeracy has been all about time, analogue and digital. We can read time to the minute, use a 24-hour digital clock and work out durations of time. We need lots of practice so it would be great if you could work on this at home too.

This week in French we learnt the French words for different parts of the body and played Jacques a dit (Simon says). Some of us also had a go at singing 'Tete, epaules, genoux et pieds'!

There is great excitement as Young Voices draws nearer. We know everyone is going to have a fantastic time at the Genting Arena. Look out for updates on our Twitter feed. Those of us who are still in school will enjoy the day undertaking a range of exciting activities.

At the beginning of the week, we launched 'Hoodwinked', our Year Four musical. In time for half term, parts will be allocated and the children will have their lines to start learning. We have already started on the songs! We are all looking forward to performing for you just before Easter.
