Despite the rain, we all had a wonderful day at the Cotswold Wildlife Park. We enjoyed looking at all of the animals and learning new facts. We are now experts in habitats and adaptations following a talk by one of the keepers. We learnt about creatures of the rainforest, their feeding patterns and the fascinating way that they camouflage.

Back at school this week we have researched the technique of writing interviews and we are about to compile an interview with Derek Redmond as a subject.

We have two weeks of swimming left. The children are making fantastic progress. Last week they learnt how to perform simple rescues in the water.

As we are nearing the end of the year, the time has come to start thinking about the Year Four Leavers' Service and Talent Show. We have tasked the children to think about their memories of Hanbury and also something they could perform in the Talent Show, either on their own or in a small group.
